“Labour market and company diversity policies. A study on especially sensitive groups: foreign and disabled workers”

Financing: Comunidad de Madrid /UC3M

Year of execution: 2008

Discrimination, whatever its cause, must be overcome not only for reasons of a moral or political nature, but also because it impacts economic and business development. It is easy to understand that every obstacle that workers encounter in labour relations (in relation to both access to work and working conditions) results in a loss of productivity for businesses: every organisation that does not appoint the most qualified worker for each post is wasting its resources and therefore reaping fewer benefits, with the resulting loss for the employer himself and for the company in general. Therefore, it is clear that the investigation to be carried out and the subsequent circulation of the results will be of great use for the businesses in our region, and therefore for all the inhabitants of Madrid.
